Another week coming to an end and it was a week in which there was lots of progress made. Lots of little jobs done, and a couple of big ones. All of which you will begin to notice in the coming days and weeks. January is a busy time for us in the Irish Mini Owners Club, with many events taking place.
They have been extra important this year with the hosting of the IMM and last weekend saw the IMOC Western Region host its annual party night in Carrick on Shannon, which included a presentation with an update on IMM progress by Joe Whyte, the Event Organiser. The presentation was well received and instigated lots of discussion over dinner and pints. With some seasoned IMM’ers in the crowd, there was lots of positive observations and suggestions for the Team.
With many Western Region members still to purchase tickets, there is no better opportunity for a rallying call to buy them now. Just visit the ticket page by clicking the big “BOOK NOW” button to the right of the screen.
An early finish of approx 03.30, ended the festivities with all in attendance suitably refreshed after the night.
This weekend coming sees the annual New Years Lunch with raffle and quiz for the IMOC, hosted in Dublin. With another Team meeting following this, more details and plans will come together for the event in May.
We are delighted to link up with a great publican in Adrian Cox of Cox’s Bar & Steakhouse in Dromod, Co. Leitrim to run the bar for the IMM. Cox’s have committed to providing the IMM event with a very well stocked bar that will continue keeping you all well refreshed long into the night, each night of the event.
With Cox’s bar located centrally in Ireland and just off the main route between the ports and the venue, we want to provide you with a halfway house and refreshment stop on your trip to the event. Watch for updates closer to the event so you can include it as a stopover during the trip across Ireland. Cox’s Bar and Steakhouse is renowned for its great food, fantastic bar and wonderful hospitality so you will be well received and well fed, ready for the IMM weekend.
Our Entertainment organiser, Aidan is busy at work finalising a wide variety of events to keep you all busy and entertained during the IMM. This week saw him highlight one of the events that will get you out and about around Westport and The Wild Atlantic Way, the economy run.

This week has seen lots of traders get their trading areas sorted and has seen us finalise some deals around sponsorship and we hope to make some announcements on these next week. This week saw quite a few additions to the website with the club logos and website links added. We are still compiling these so if you have sent in the logo and website it will be appearing soon. We are trying to make sure that all websites or forums are linked to the logo so let us know the address when supplying the logo. As traders are sending in their details we are also getting their published on the site. The coming week should see a wealth of material being added.

Our event merchandise is available in the shop and Darren is just after getting in a big order merchandise so we should have your size in stock.
If you fancy ordering a jacket but don’t want to pay the delivery charge, we can organise that you pick it up at the IMM in May. Just make us aware of your intentions and we can organise it with you.
Jackets are available in sizes from Small – XXXL and range in price from €50-€55 for collection at the event.
